Four Analysis | Four Industries | Four Examples
Various ratios and margin analyses include gross profit margin, gross profit margin, or net profit margin. They provide you with a holistic overview of business performance.
However, if you want to dig deeper, then the analysis you are looking at is at a product level, segment level, or customer level.
Several types of revenue analysis can help businesses understand their revenue streams better.
I have included only four types of analysis, i.e., product contribution, new product performance, season and trend analysis, and customer analysis.
Each type of analysis can provide unique insights into revenue generation and help businesses make informed decisions.
To give you an idea of how these analyses work, I have included examples from four industries: hospitality, shopping malls, manufacturing, and SaaS.
However, it's important to note that these examples could be more comprehensive. Businesses can perform many other types of analyses to deep dive to analyze the revenue mix and business performance.
The aim is to demonstrate how data can be used to make informed decisions about their revenue streams.
Here's what I have covered:
1️⃣ Revenue Analysis
- Product Contribution
- New Product Performance
- Season and Trend Analysis
- Customer Analysis
2️⃣ Four Industries Examples
- Hospitality
- Shopping Malls
- Manufacturing
- SaaS
