Key factors to remember:

1- The Transfer ins and outs within the company should never be added to the 'Addition' column.

2- Completed capital work in progress is 'transfer out' from CWIP and 'transfer in' to Fixed Assets.

3- Transfer outs from CWIP should match the Transfer ins in fixed assets.

4- Do not treat CWIP transfer to fixed assets as additions to fixed assets.

The accumulated depreciation schedule's key element is that the period's depreciation charge should match the depreciation expense on your income statement.

The Excel template contains both the cost and the accumulated depreciation movement for summarized and monthly movement.
